Synopsis[]
At tgagsgahsğhe batting cages, Zenji Banba updates Hironobu Shigematsu on the details of his investigation, including his visit to Club Miroir, where the manager had claimed to be unable to remember whether or not the mayor had ever visited.
That day, Reiko Asakura, Hisashi Ivanov, and Shinohara blow up a car containing Masaki Yoshida, Tatsuya Yamashiro, and Jun Murase, the three friends of Yusuke Harada's who had beaten a foreign man to death. At the same time, Ryuuji Munakata is meeting with Zhang, who agrees to provide them with a trafficked woman to give to Yusuke in exchange for ridding him of Xianming Lin.
In the meantime, Banba arrives home to find Lin watching television in his living room. Lin, despite being sent there to kill him, offers his services as a bodyguard in order to get back at Zhang over a pay dispute. When Banba insists he does not need to be protected, especially by a woman, Lin tackles and pins him down, revealing himself to be a man. Some time later, because Lin has urged him not to leave the safety of his home, Banba asks him to go out and buy some food.
That night, Saitoh is shocked to get a call from his superior congratulating him for a job well done, despite the fact that he had not killed Jun Murase as ordered. However, because someone else's murder has saved his own life, he happily takes the credit for it and decides to spend his pay check on a night out.
